Review of 2010 (1984) by Hunter D — 22 Feb 2010
Director Peter Hyams doesn't try to make "2010" much more than your regular sci-fi movie. Sure, there's that cold war world peace subplot that feels more preachy than anything else, and it is interesting to find out what happened to the David Bowman character and why HAL went all wacky in the first movie.
Other than that it's a fairly dull space flick that just goes through the motions.
