It was....interesting. Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, for me, is the greatest motion picture ever made, so needless to say, I was very skeptical of this film's potential, but it was actually kinda decent.
It clears up a lot of 2001's mysteries, which is something I didn't really need to find out. Like what Red Dragon was to The Silence of the Lambs, 2010 is that for 2001. Bottom line is: it's good, not great, and not a must see.
