Roy Scheider gives a good performance. The film has a decent story as it continues upon the mysterious events of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Yet I did not think the conclusion was proper. It was not of the same scale and grandeur as 2001.
2010 is only entertaining for people who loved the first film.
