You know you're in trouble when it warns you that this movie is based on another movie, "the two thousand maniacs", so obviously this is suppose to be one better (dear god, do I hear a spinal tap moment?), and yes, this is basically a theft of every other movie ever written, even deliverance.
Simple dialog, simple plot, and dangerously boring roll out. At least it was gruesome and funny at times. And of course, it used the most outdated, obvious ending there is, not a single surprise. Who finances these movies?
