Review of 2001 Maniacs (2005) by Matt R — 17 Jul 2010
Tim Sullivan gave us excellent remake of a H. G. Lewis classic 2000 Maniacs. The idea is updated nicely and it's all about naked women and guts and glory. Eight "yankees" arrive at the town of Pleasentvalley and there is a town fiesta going on and the yanks guests of honour.
Robert Englund was excellent as the one-eyed mayor Buckman and his lines were hilarious. Lin Shaye was also fine as the mayor's wife. Need I say more, it's time for B-A-R-B-E-Q-U-E.
