Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Connor D — 06 Feb 2016

"2001" manages to pull out so much in its 148 minute runtime. From the start of the film being the 'start of mankind' with the monkeys to the progressive evolution to the end where the human race has evolved into something we can't quite grasp.

This movie is simply amazing at pulling out all types of emotions, from happiness, to envy, to wrath. "2001" may not be my favorite (or even my second favorite) Kubrick film, but I absolutely admire this bold, risky, beautiful film by the movie master himself, Stanley Kubrick.
