Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Donnie Ray S — 14 Mar 2014
No other film gives you what 2001 gives you. As Dave the main character goes out into space, time slows. All you hear is Dave's loud breathing in his suit. You watch him slowly drift through space.
Through most people eyes, this scene would be tedious and dull. Through my eyes, I'm being put right in Dave's position. It's a one of a kind film and the greatest achievement in the Sci-Fi genre.
