Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Daniel H — 14 Jul 2014

While it might bore some few uninterested beings, 2001 is the GODFATHER ot Sci-Fi films. Not only does it offer cool shots, a weird story, almost thriller-like AI-creepiness and great production design, but also some of the best Special Effects I have ever seen in my life.

If you have the chance watch it on Blu-Ray prepare to be totally blown away by the shots of the planets, the space station and all of that good stuff! It boggles my mind how that was done in 1965!
