Science fiction doesn't get much better than this, stunning cinematography with a fantastic score and sound design. The realistic special effects retain their magic even 40 years later, and outclass almost anything produced today.
It is hypnotic, captivating and mesmerizing. A must see if you want a movie that is a completely unique experience, or you are a fan of science fiction and want to appreciate the first great movie within the genre.
