A classic in every sense of the word, 2001: A Space Odyssey is the true meaning of Science Fiction. It has enough of a realistic element, and doesn't go to far with it's Sci-Fi themes, much like Christopher Nolan's Interstellar would do 46 years later.
Boosted with an unforgettable score and breathtaking visuals, especially considering the time in which this was released, 2001 is a film that everyone should see at least once in their lives.
