Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Andre W — 02 Jan 2017

I know it's a cliché to give 5 stars to "2001: A space odyssey" but this movie truly deserves it. It used to bore me horribly when I was a kid (so did all Kubrick movies, dumb kids will never learn), until the day I watched it again when I was a bit more grown up.

Watching the movie is like an exercise in mindfulness, the more you focus and let it take you for a ride, the more you will get out of it. The plot is minimalistic yet deep, the visuals are revolutionary and it leaves you in a state of curious fascination every time you finish it, the best part is that it can leave you with a different impression of whats going on every time.

Seriously thought provoking, a must watch!
