Review of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954) by Courtney S — 15 Jan 2012
This is a well done classic. The cast is excellent and features Kirk Douglas, Peter Lorre and James Mason, but the real star of the film is the Special Effects. They are amazing for this time period, Disney essentially gambled the studio on this very costly film, but the risk paid off.
