A well-rounded documentary about the lives of some key background singers. There is a lot to enjoy and to learn from the variety of angles explored. The angle I love most is its appreciation and celebration of those individuals who choose to develop and showcase their talents in the background.

Not everyone is built to be or wants to be at the forefront and that's absolutely okay. This niche space exists where background vocalists are essential to the overall quality and sound of some iconic pieces of music.
