20 Feet From Stardom is an energetic, revealing and poignant film about backup singers and, although it should have stopped at times to allow us to meet those people better, it still has many emotional moments and it has something to say.
Even though 'Cutie and the Boxer' was a better choice for Best Documentary Feature, 20 Feet From Stardom is still the second best of the nominees and the most entertaining of the bunch.
