Review of 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) by Octavio M — 25 May 2013

The weakest entry in the series, this pop bubble gum movie that stars beautiful people and beautiful cars plays out more like a spin off than a sequel. In spite of what Singleton tried to achieve here, the movie felt like Frankenstein-ed assortment of a combination of familiar (clichéd) story elements that winds up stalling and sputtering across the finish line.

That said, there were some elements here that won me over into liking this movie as guilty pleasure.
