Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Nicky T — 16 Oct 2008
Pretty basic by-the-numbers police thriller. Willis is convincing as a burnt-out veteran cop playing his age but it's nothing special and was probably a waste of his and Richard Donner's talent.
They can do so much better than this average thriller. Willis and Mos Def's chemistry wasnt very special either. The cop n' crook team-up was done much better in 48 HRS.
