Although Bruce Willis, Mos Def and David Morse are good and entertaining to watch and Richard Donner tries to direct and make a good movie, 16 Blocks ultimately becomes a film that is different than other buddy-action films, but it doesn't become that thanks to a weak idea, premise and script.
