One of the two endings is one of the most haunting that I have ever seen in this genre. Contrary to some haughty, jaded reviews, this movie was anything but forgettable, unless of course you happened to have seen the "rotten" alternate ending.
Make sure you watch the unofficial original ending, still gives me chills.
