Daniel Lee's adaptation, set during the Ming Dynasty, of a secret service agent (Donnie Yen) in the emperor's court who is betrayed and then hunted by his collegues is enthralling. His attention to detail was highly noted.
The film has everything from action, adventure to romantic drama. Great martial arts choreography and special effects.
