Superb French white-knuckle thriller. First rate shite I say! The opening is slow but we have to get a sense of how desperate sebastian is for money at home and how he happens to get involved in the sick circle jerk/russian roulette game in the first place, its all about plot and leading up to the pay-off which makes it so much better! Its like your almost there when he comes to the shocking realization of what he's gotten himself into and that there is no way out! The russian roulette scenes are some of the most intense since The Deer Hunter.
A must see suspense/thriller. The French are making films that blow the lid off the American market, Hollywood sucks these days so I get my fix elsewhere.
