Review of 13 Tzameti (2006) by Austine C — 30 Aug 2007
Gripping and terrifying; the closest "existential" joy-ride this side of the tube. Not only the riveting nervousness, 13 Tzameti gives a perspective on class disparity (poor exploitation), and differential coping mechanisms for death.
At moments, I had to remember to breathe. A haunting quote, "Come on, be philosophical, we're all going to die!" 13 Tzameti is a film to be remembered.
