When a series of events unfold a young man is found in a living nightmare where people bet on other people's lives.
Unlike the recent similar yet completely tasteless "The condemned", 13 Tzameti offers real intensity and amazing performances.
It hits where it hurts the most as it explores the different levels of fear, desperation and survival.
The transition from innocent victim to adrenaline pumping warrior is very crafts-fully displayed.
It's a powerful film with great execution.
