Review of 13 Tzameti (2006) by Serdar C — 07 Jan 2008

I only rented this because of a small clip I saw and was inteagued by the concept. I first wondered if the fact it was a foreign film was masking some bad acting but very soon got past that though and was thrown deep into the film and the characters.

I dont see many foreign films but I feel a great story can be told through subtitles and not pull you out the film, this was the case with 13. I really enjoyed this film, made me put myself in the lead characters possition and kept me right up to the last.

Well worth watching and it's brilliant to see a film without a love interest thrown in just to have sex in for the sake of it like so many films from England and the US nowadays.
