Review of 13 Tzameti (2006) by Sean D — 10 Jan 2008
You are better off not knowing where the letter leads the film's protagonist, Sebastien. Do not read past the fourth sentence of the synopsis and do not watch the trailer. I didn't get that warning beforehand, and I kind of wish I had.
If you know where Sebastien ends up, it takes something away from the film. With that said, 13 Tzameti is great and I highly recommend it. It's Gela Babluani's first film and he really delivers.
I look forward to seeing more work from him in the future.
