Review of 13 Tzameti (2006) by Patrick C — 25 May 2009

I love the premise of this film. I don't know about you but I find the game of Russian Roulette fascinating, the ultimate game of chance. This film really pulled out the Hitchcock techniques using suspense and tension to keep the audience entertained. Its camera work really created a dark depressing atmosphere which contributed to the horrible game these contestants were forced into..

The acting overall wasn't too flash and it shifted along at a really slow pace until the actual game. It was interesting and enjoyable after watching it once but this isn't really worth a second viewing. Give it a miss if you're not a fan of slow paced films or Hitchcock.
