Review of 13 Tzameti (2006) by Derek D — 26 Oct 2009
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. From it's dramatic black N white frame to the elegant subtle performance from it's brilliant make lead. A tension builder that breaks your hope in humanity as an idea.
Cold yet not distant the film draws many emotions from within; futility, disgust, fear & righteous indignation. So good the original writer/director took American greenbacks in large quantities to remake his film much like Hanake did with 'Funny Games'.
Or is that now an insult? See it before we(USA) soil the waters.
