Review of 13 Assassins (2010) by Long L — 21 Aug 2011

The movie is mostly a long battle with the first quarter as plot for why, bringing down a sadistic lord to prevent him from ascending the throne. 13 samurai band together to take on an army/guard of hundreds.

Then comes the question of what is important: the code of the samurai, code of honor, or honor to your kingdom? The fight is pretty epic, but I really feel that hundreds against 13 should of swayed toward the hundreds.

And the last fight was a let down. Poke, poke, pain, slice, death.
