Review of 13 Assassins (2010) by Brad H — 22 Sep 2011
Takashi Miike has created something very special. An old-fashioned samurai action flick, with lots of bloody sword battles and spirit. It takes a little bit of time to set up plot and characters, but the final half hour is something to behold.
Definitely ranks among the best of the samurai genre.
