Review of 13 Assassins (2010) by Greg W — 10 Nov 2012

I loved this film. As the plot progressed, I found myself beginning to despise the antagonist as though I were a direct victim of his disgusting atrocities. I found myself pondering what my decision would be had I been cursed with the protagonist's dilemma of having the very values you believe in contradict the morals you stand for.

The final battle proves well worth the wait of the buildup, and the emotional tension which is relieved at the film's closure may catch you off guard. Excellent film.
