Some of the scenes made me cry.....it's a real tear-jerker... this movie is based on the book written by Solomon Northup in the 19th century... he had written the book to show the world his heart-wrenching real life experiences being a slave.
A must watch movie to understated how the humanity had suffered at the hands of disgusting uncivilized cruel humans. If you can empathize the situation of those who suffered that time, I guess you have really got benefited watching this one of the greatest movies ever made!
