How ridiculous. The idea that this is an "uncomfortable" look at slavery is ludicrous. How could it possibly be more comfortable. Completely sentimentalize and without nuance or intellectual integrity.
A truly ridiculous representation of slavery. But you have Brad Pitt as your white savior. A ridiculous movie for simple minds.
