It was certainly interesting. It's unfortunate that the only "good" movies we (black) can get recognized for is slave movies, movies where we play the help or need to be rescued by white people.
.etc. IK this was "based on a true story" it was a decent movie. I just wish we didn't if to "Color Purple", "Spend 12 years as a Slave", literally be "The Help", "Drive Ms.
Daisy", work as "The Butler" to get good roles in good movies.
