From the director of Die Hard 2 and the producer of Speed...mmm at first when I saw the poster for this film in the cinema, I scoffed. Hadn't these guys done anything since that was equally prolific? Don't get me wrong, Speed is one of my favourite movies of all time, it's just.

...these films were over 15 years old when this film came out and it didn't drive me to see it. Between this and the dvd release, I saw the Marine. I saw a trailer for the film a while ago and thought, yep, need to see that, that's what I am talking about and, to my surprise, I actually enjoyed it, for what it is.

Same story here. It's nothing more than what it is suppose to be but, as total film says, shrapnel does come flying through the screen. Not literally. That would be horrific. Anyway, typical story, similar to the Marine, wife gets kidnapped by crazed genius and Cena has to use his muscles rather than his brain to work out the 12 sizzling puzzles that Aidan Gillen's character lays out.

Expect old school action with a hint if Schwarzenegger as Cena doesn't so much as act as put his whole physique into this job. See this if you like old school action movies. It is the reason I saw it.

Don't expect Speed, or even Die Hard too, just expect some good fun.
