Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by Keating T — 04 Feb 2012
Sidney Lumet was 33 years old when he directed masterpiece 12 Angry Men, a teleplay of same name. It stars Henry Fonda as Juror#8, other cast include Lee J. Cobb, Martin Balsam, Jack Warden. It is amazing how some simply best stories turn out to be so great and enchanting to watch more and more and never get tired of watching.
12 Angry Men is a brilliant classic courtroom film, praise-worthy for the moving exchange of dialogues between the characters. Film centers upon a Latin boy who is convicted of stabbing his father to death, and Jury of 12 people from all walks of life, come to immediate conclusion of convicting him and get on with life.
However, Juror#8 comes up with fair reasoning to suspect that accused is innocent. This film is motivational and inspiring film, and my most favorite on courtroom genre.
