Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by Allan C — 29 Sep 2012
A classic film that I'd never seen and it really did live up to it's reputation. Terrific performances by all involved, though Fonda and Cobb's characters really stand out. Sidney Lumet's directorial debut is incredibly tight and very smart.
Thought greatly aided by some outstanding performances, Lumet builds tension like a pro. A thoughtful provoking and highly engaging film.
