The kids in this film all give fantastic performances, especially the girl who plays Malee. I think what makes this film a success is that the plot is quite deep and dark, but really normal and plausible at the same time.
Everything that happens is really believable. I really enjoyed the storyline with the over weight family. In my narrow little mind this is an accurate view of a typical Middle American family. Sorry. Maybe I watch too much TV.
