Review of 10,000 BC (2008) by Nick B — 08 Aug 2014
A bonkersly bad movie defying natural history (mammoths were not domesticated nor did they live in the desert), geography (you do not pass through the Sahara to get to the Nile from Europe) or anthropology (ancient man was not particularly in to teeth whitening products and tribes tended not to be multicultural).
Still the effects are pretty impressive as ever with Emmerich and it can be mildly entertaining if you're not a historical, geographical or anthropological purist.
