Review of 10 Rillington Place (1971) by Ross C — 31 Aug 2009
Quite a disturbing film considering it is totally based on a true story. What makes the film so disturbing is Richard Attenbrough's recreation of chilling Serial Killer Christie, forgot your Freddy Krugers and Vampires, this really is one of the most disturbing characters in cinema history.
Besides being disturbing it is a very good film very well shot and is actually filmed in the real rillington place and was soon demolished afterwards. John Hurt plays an excellent part as the tragic Timothy Evans. At times abit uncomfotable to watch but a great film.
