Richard Attenborough so damn creepy in this movie about the English serial killer John Christie. He was active in the 1940s and 50s and killed 7 women including his wife. John Hurt is outstanding as Timothy Evans,the Welshman who was Chrisy's tenant and was wrongly hanged for the murder of his infant daughter.
This is a very sad and harrowing story that will make you think twice about capital punishment.
