Do not tie this movie to Cloverfield. Even though, this movie is from the same period after the original events went down, the movie is good all by itself. I went expecting pieces (creatures, characters, storylines, etc.
) from the original movie so I was disappointed in that. I did get my screams and creatures. It is just different.
