Review of 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) by Graham S — 03 Jun 2016

Pleasantly surprised! I thought Cloverfield was pretty average, but this blew my socks off! I know a lot of people didn't care for Cloverfield, but definitely give this one a shot. To be honest, don't even consider Cloverfield when watching this.

JJ Abrams referred to the film as more of a blood relative than a sequel. and he's right. The suspense, tension, characters, dialogue and pretty much everything was great. It starts off a little bit slow, but it really gives you a chance to get attached to the characters.

Even though it majorly takes place in one location Goodman, Winstead, and Ghallagher carry the film very well. By the end of the movie my heart was racing and I was left wanting more. Definitely recommended!
