The film is a thriller within a small scale environment that shows the same places repeatedly, inducing paranoia and tension. The contrast of the characters makes for a good mix of dialogue and situations.
The film makers deserve massive praise for the cinematography used in the film, considering it's predecessor was a found footage film, 10 Cloverfield Lane is a huge improvement.
