Uneven, but entertaining thriller. John Goodman is the menacing hostage taker (or is he) and Kate Winslet and John Gallagher Jr. are the hostages.Goodman's character claims the world has been overtaken by a foreign or alien threat and the outside air unfit to breathe.
The film sputters at times before the excellent third act I wish had arrived in the middle of the second act.
