Review of 10 (1979) by Daniel A — 15 Apr 2012
Dated seventies sex comedy contains a nostalgic novelty, but lacks real laughs and narrative momentum. Dudley Moore plays on his slapstick talents and quirky charm, but his character is wily and unlikeable, while Julie Andrews shows moments of great potential, but suffers from a lack of screentime outside of her costar's shadow.
Meanwhile Bo Derek bounces rather agreeably in slow motion along the beach, providing the main reason why most viewers will want to go back and revisit this badly aged comedy. There's not much else to enjoy here.
