Review of Welcome to Me (2015) by Manny C — 13 Jun 2015
Definitely a timely film about our generation's sick fascination with exhibitionism and putting our entire lives into the public eye. Kirsten Wiig gives arguably her best performance to date, but is also surrounded by equally good performances from the likes of Wes Bentley, Thomas Mann, and Linda Cardellini.
The film is fitfully funny, but often incredibly uncomfortable, as Eliot Laurence's script isn't afraid to go to some incredibly dark places to pull his humor and insights.
