Review of Vishwaroopam (2013) by Senthil K — 26 Jan 2013
Firstly this is one of the four films Kamal Haasan has directed and probably his best till date. Kamal Haasan has had an industry experience of over 50 years having grown up watching technical stuff in cinema.
The pyro technics used in this film are as good as any you have ever watched amongst the masterpieces in world cinema. The premise is about how an Indian secret agent and his nuclear oncologist wife joins hands with the US intelligence agencies to stop a bunch of Afghan rebels from detonating cesium bombs spread across the world through pigeons.
The cinematography and sound are something that would captivate you. This film is a notch better than most run of the mill secret agent movies as they show the reason for the rebel in detail. Great performances by Kamal Haasan and Rahul Bose.
9/10.
