Review of Tooth and Nail (2007) by Jason D — 29 Mar 2008
Wow, I really had high hopes for this film, but they were crushed. A group of survivors take a new person in who just happens to bring along with her some silly barbarians that eat people. Soon, these guys are coming in every night to take a person away to eat them.
First off, all of the big names (Madsen, Jones, Carradine, and even Michael Kelly) are TERRIBLY underused and utterly wasted in this film. The acting is ATROCIOUS, and I am about sick and tired (sorry if this sounds sexist) of these super-empowered women and all of these weak, pussy guys (barbarians included).
This was a ridiculous, horror film, however, it may be one of the best comedies I've seen in awhile. Yep, this years After Dark Horrorfest has officially upset me.
