Review of Tooth and Nail (2007) by Jonathan H — 17 Feb 2010
A brilliant, gripping and provokative work of speculative fiction which paints a disturbing (yet strangely inspiring) vision of the world upon the absolute collapse of civilisation. Great characters, action, storyline and twists, as well as some absolutely stunning camerawork and lighting.
Only a few things really let this film down: The reasoning behind the collapse of the world isn't all the plausible and it tends to get a bit cheesy in places. But, that aside, I found this to be an engaging and thrilling film.
Highly recommended!
