As a romantic comedy, this is one of the worst films I have ever seen, but what it actually is, is a clever spoof on every single cliche in the book and it pulls off nearly every joke it sets out to achieve.

I enjoyed every second of this film, and it definitely helped having such a funny cast. Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler are fantastic together and they embrace the world they are making fun of. Something that a bad romantic comedy tries to do seriously is also done in this film throughout, but it is hilarious.

Well-written, well-directed, and well-acted, "They Came Together" is one of the biggest surprises of 2014 for me. It's not a perfect film by any means, but it is way too much fun to turn down.

One of the most enjoyable films I have seen all year!
