The first 40 minutes of this 1955 classic are now dated and you must look past that to get to this film's true glory and sheer nerve-racking excitement. Yves Montand's debut. Remade in 1977 as Sorcerer by William Friedkin and starring Roy Scheider, this time taking place in South America.
I liked Sorcerer as well but it's no Wages of Fear and nearly cost Friedkin his career!
